Terms & Conditions

1. Platform Role: VStand acts solely as an intermediary that connects Hirers with Drivers/Owners. VStand does not own, operate, manage, inspect, or guarantee any listed vehicle or service. All hiring arrangements are directly between the Hirer and the Driver/Owner.

2. No Liability: VStand is not responsible for the accuracy of listings, vehicle condition, driver or owner conduct, rental agreements, payments made outside the platform, disputes, damages, losses, injuries, accidents, or any transaction between Hirers and Drivers/Owners.

3. Lawful Use: Both Hirers and Drivers/Owners agree to use the platform lawfully and must not publish false, misleading, fraudulent, offensive, or illegal content.

4. Acceptance of Terms: Both Hirers and Drivers/Owners acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy at the time of registration.

5. Continued Use: Continued use of the platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any future updates made in accordance with applicable laws and platform policies.

6. Limitation of Liability: VStand shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of this platform or from any vehicle hire arranged through it.

7. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

1. Independent Verification: Hirers are responsible for independently verifying the suitability, condition, legality, and safety of the vehicle and the credentials of the Driver/Owner before entering into any hiring arrangement. VStand strongly recommends verifying the vehicle's RC, insurance, fitness certificate, and driver's licence before travelling.

2. No Booking Guarantee: VStand does not guarantee the availability of any vehicle at any time. Vehicle availability is subject to direct confirmation from the Driver/Owner.

3. Direct Agreement: When you contact a Driver/Owner via VStand, you are communicating directly with that individual. VStand is not a party to any agreement, payment, or transaction between a Hirer and a Driver/Owner.

4. Pricing: All prices listed are indicative and subject to negotiation between Hirer and Driver/Owner. VStand does not charge Hirers any fee for using the platform.

5. Disputes: Any dispute between a Hirer and a Driver/Owner is the sole responsibility of the concerned parties. VStand has no liability in such disputes.

6. Prohibited Use: Hirers must not use VStand to hire vehicles for illegal activities, transport of prohibited goods, or for any purpose that violates applicable law.

7. Accuracy of Information: Hirers are responsible for providing accurate contact details and specifying their requirements clearly to the Driver/Owner.

8. Safety Responsibility: Hirers are solely responsible for their own safety and that of any co-passengers during the hire period.

1. Age Requirement: Drivers/Owners must be at least 18 years of age to register or list a vehicle on VStand.

2. Valid Driving Licence: Drivers/Owners must possess a valid driving licence and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements at all times.

3. Accuracy of Listings: Drivers/Owners are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, authenticity, and completeness of all information, vehicle details, documents, photographs, contact details, and other content published on the platform.

4. Contact Information: Drivers/Owners are responsible for publishing and maintaining their own phone number and contact information on the platform. By creating a listing, Drivers/Owners expressly authorise the app to facilitate the sharing of their contact information with Hirers who initiate contact through the platform.

5. Consent to Communication: Drivers/Owners consent to being contacted by Hirers through the app's chat feature, phone call feature, notifications, and any other communication methods provided by the platform.

6. Free Listing: Listing a vehicle on VStand is completely free. VStand does not charge any commission, subscription fee, or listing fee from Drivers/Owners.

7. Eligibility: Only the owner or authorised representative of a vehicle may register it on VStand. By registering, you confirm that you have the legal right to offer the vehicle for hire.

8. Legal Compliance: Drivers/Owners are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are legally registered, roadworthy, insured (where applicable), and fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations including valid registration, insurance, fitness certificate, and permits.

9. Photos: Photos uploaded must be genuine photographs of your own vehicle. You must not upload copyrighted images or photos of vehicles you do not own or operate.

10. Availability: You are responsible for keeping your listing's availability status updated. If a vehicle is no longer available for hire, you must mark it as unavailable or remove the listing promptly.

11. Prohibited Listings: The following are strictly not permitted on VStand: stolen vehicles, vehicles without valid documents, vehicles intended for illegal transport, or duplicate listings of the same vehicle.

12. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

1. In-App Communication: Hirers and Drivers/Owners acknowledge and agree that communication may take place through the platform's chat and calling features for the purpose of vehicle hiring and related inquiries.

2. Phone Number Privacy: Public display of phone numbers outside the platform's designated contact features should be avoided. The platform facilitates secure contact between parties without unnecessarily exposing personal contact details to the general public.

3. Appropriate Use: All communication through the platform must be professional, lawful, and relevant to vehicle hiring. Harassment, spam, abuse, or any form of inappropriate communication is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.

4. No Guarantee of Response: VStand does not guarantee response times from Drivers/Owners and is not responsible for missed messages, failed calls, or communication failures between parties.

5. Notifications: By using the platform, users consent to receiving in-app notifications related to messages, inquiries, and platform updates. Notification preferences may be managed within the app settings.

1. Data Collection: VStand collects personal information such as name, email, phone number, and vehicle details solely for the purpose of operating the platform and facilitating connections between Hirers and Drivers/Owners.

2. Data Sharing: Contact information of Drivers/Owners is shared with Hirers only when a Hirer initiates contact through the platform, as expressly consented to by the Driver/Owner upon listing.

3. Data Security: VStand implements reasonable security measures to protect user data. However, no system is entirely secure and VStand cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

4. User Rights: Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting VStand support. Account deletion can also be initiated directly from the app's profile settings.

5. Cookies: VStand may use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience. By using the platform, you consent to the use of such technologies in accordance with this policy.
